alright so ive been trying to do tamedogs(frontflips) for a while and at first a landed 1 out of 2 times, then a month latter i broke a board, a week after that, i broke a board... now i have a lib tech skate banana witch i cant afford to brake but still love the trick. Would maybe an underflip be easier on my equipment and how hard are they? Please help!

You broke a board doing a tamedog? You aren't landing base down?
Underflips are pretty easy. Easier than backflips imo. You come in on them like you would a front 3 but you dip your back shoulder hard. I actually learned them by doing miller flips on a hip. It's an easy way to start small and spot your landing. And be careful not to whip it because it's easy to hit you're head on the take off if you don't allow yourself enough pop. |
