Default Bend ze knees!

I'm pretty happy with my riding except that I bend at the waist too much and and at the knees too little. It doesn't really affect my riding apart from hard heel side turns but when I look at a pic or clip of myself I want to shout 'that fool looks like he's trying to take a shit!'

I know it's happening I just can't seem to stop it.

Is there anything I can do to force myself out of this habit?

Don't forget about your ankles, they need to be engaged as well as your knees.

I find peeling my shoulders back helps, if your shoulders are slouched forward your back will follow. Same thing with your arms, if your reaching for the ground to protect against a fall then your back is going to follow your arms and hunch yourself over. Its easy to practice the proper position at home, just squat in front of mirror and make sure your not hunching over.
