Hey,
So i am currently riding a 21/-21 duckstance but now after i purchased a new board i saw that most of the big riders and in general all park riders are mostly not going further than 15° on each foot. My stance was recommended to me by a guy from a snowboard shop wich saw how angled out my feet are when i am standing on the ground (imagine an angle dat is even more than 21° on each foot). SO is there any kind of difrence or a reason to switch up my stance like improvment in my riding (park) or is my stance even dangeorous and could cause knee problemes? |

If that's how you naturally stand, it's probably better to keep your current angles. If you ride a bit and feel like it's too wide, you can always change it up in between runs or something. Don't worry about what angles other people use, it's pretty much all preference.

Read that thread and I think most of your concerns will be answered.

don't fix what isn't broken. Or, if you feel the need to tinker, just bump the angles in 3-degree increments for a few laps until you find something that feels "better". There really is no right or wrong stance as long as it feels right for you.

Seriously though, to the OP, every time I fuck with my stance I always wind up going back to my original stance. Don't worry about what everyone else is doing. Leo on here rides 24.5 inches and he's like 8 inches shorter than me, but I'm not comfortable anywhere wider than 23 inches. It truly is personal preference. |

No, it will only cause knee problems if you feel it hurt your knees going down the mountain after a few runs.
What you really have to do is just pay attention to your feet. If your going down and you feel their pressing to the outside of your boot, then you need to angle out. Same if it presses inside... you need to angle it in. |
