I'm in southwest PA, working in MD. I split my (winter) time between the Wisp and Seven Springs. From the sounds of things around the site, I may have even run into a few of you! (not literally

) All mountain rider- no real ambition to hit huge jumps or master rails- always hunting for powder.

On the snow, I'm riding a ~7 yo O'Sin Surge Wide 162 with Lamar Justice boots and Rossignol HC250 bindings (picked up cheap at the Wisp after my original binding's highback broke). On the street I have a Ninja 650R

Kinda' looking around for a new board, and it wouldn't hurt if it's made in the US! So far, the Never Summer boards really stand out. { Legacy-R } Never Summer Boards New boots might be nice too...

The Ride Yukon caught my eye too.

welcome! looks like you came to the right place, there are a bunch of MD and VA riders here that hit up 7springs and wisp. and you can never go wrong with a neversummer!

Is anyone else heading to the Wisp next month for demoes? Anyone know what brands will be there?

welcome! i'm from northern va, but head to pa to ride. seven springs being my favorie, after snowshoe. wisp is cool, but i've only been a few times & it was always kinda warm & wet, which made things kinda sluggish.

but yeah, like tj said, we've got a growing group of "locals" on this board, so its kinda cool! if we haven't met yet we will soon!
