Default New to the Board, in New Jersey

Just wanted to say hello, found the site looking for more information on the art of butters.

Saturday was my third day riding and I'm freaking hooked. My girlfriend and I went out two days before X-mas, took a two hour lesson and had an enormous blast. Next day we went out to our local shop and dropped a ton of flow on some new gear for both of us.

I bought a 156 Custom ICS (Wide), with Cartel Bindings (the green ones), and size 12 boots from 32 with the BOA system (which I love). All of the gear so far has been great (though the board was a little too much to handle on my second day), the boots had some pressure points, but I was tightening the linings around my wide feet a little too much, fixed that and haven't had an issue yet. But already in the third day I'm carving ice and powder and even hit a very small jump (much to my dismay).

Being we're in NJ we have to ride a bunch of ice from time to time up here, so I'm already keeping my eyes out on another board after the season ends maybe a Lib (with the 7 contact points), Custom X or the Rome Anthem. My company is supposed to move me to Switzerland in about 18 months, just North of the Alps (hopefully we'll get to Laax for the championship there), so any recommendation on gear that would work well there too would be helpful.

Glad to meet you all, and I look forward to learning a ton from you - already reading about waxing my board lol.

Thanks boarder, I saw a thread you had posted in about Blue and Camelback, I think we're hitting up Camelback this week. We're trying to decide on a season pass for a local mountain (Mt. Creek, Shawnee, Camleback - or JFBB - a little further). Any recommendations would be appreciated.
