New guy here from Sonoma County, CA - Snowboarding Forum

Howdy folks

New guy here, fairly new to snowboarding but I freakin' love it!

I'm in my second year of it now and don't know why in the hell I didn't start sooner. I sucked at skateboarding so I always figured I'd suck in the snow, but I picked it up right away and haven't looked back. Just got back from riding Sierra at Tahoe today and it was SICK! Fresh powder everywhere and it was far from crowded.

I also have a Jeep, which is my other passion, hence my username...

Anyway, off to cruise these forums and see what's out there. Hope to be sticking around these parts

hey mate, thats excatly what it was for me as well. I was only ok at skating, but snowboaring is so much easier hey? what levle are you at, hitting up the terrain park yet?
