I'm new to snowboarding and was looking for advice on the best place to buy a board locally.

Alberta is a pretty large Provence dude. Kind of hard to name a local board shop if you don't include your city. " The Source" is a franchise in Edmonton, Calgary, and online store, but is also expensive as F*ck.

If you are new to snowboarding and are a beginner, try renting a couple times and take a lesson first. Then pick up something. Kijiji is always an option.
