Hey guys, I am a fairly new boarder( this will be my 2nd full season), and I just bought a new board (my first was a used off market board). I also got new boots and bindings, the works. Since my aim is to good get this season, I wanted some tips on how to practice before you hit the slopes. I tried getting in gear and practicing carving/leaning/turning shpeil on my carpet, but i Found it to be sort hard to get the edge in with out almost falling. Also, it was really hard to practice ones' and such without the speed. Any suggestions?

and as long as u dont hit any big rocks with your bord you will be fine. grab an old board to practice on if ur worried about causing damage. or if ur near sand dunes those work too. |
