New guy, MN/WI
Started boarding a week ago, and loved it. I started at Afton Mountain in Minnesota, anyone familiar with it? I was real awkward at first but by the end of the day I had real good control of the board, and had my heel edge pretty much down. I felt like Zoolander though because I couldn't turn to the right haha (toe edge).
Anyways, despite having eaten snow multiple times due to my lack of toe edge skills I plan on going again this weekend.
I just have a couple quick questions: I plan on getting a board, so what brand board would be good for me? I'm obviously a beginner, but my friends were really impressed by how well I was doing after only a few hours, so I don't want to get stuck with a board that could limit my riding/speed/air/handling when I do develop more effective skills. If it is even possible for a board to limit you.
Also, I have no idea what dimensions the board should be. I'm 6'2" 185lbs size 13 feet.
