Hi, my names Mike, and I'm 15.
This is my first snowboarding season, but I'm picking it up pretty fast. I went snowboarding 5 times this season for a week each. I'm still learning jumps and rails, but I'm able to go down any hill that is ridable. I live in California, san diego, but am hopefully moving up to Squamish BC, canada, where it's 30 minutes away from Whistler. I've been up to big bear, and Mammoth. My girl moved up to Anchorage Alaska last month ( ), so I'm hoping to go up there and maybe as I'm leaving, check out Alyeska if the mountain is still open. ![]() I own a tech nine board. So, hi snowboarding forums.

Welcome to the forum man! Just wanted to say, if this is your first season, you should probably not be worrying about hitting rails and jumps. Trust me, staying out of the park for awhile and just getting the fundamentals down will pay off in the long run

Yeah, I can't wait till I move to squamish/vancouver, the highschools there supposedly pack up a bus every weekend and take you up to whistler. I might also just be getting homeschooled so if I do, I can go even more often. I really love it.
