Hello everyone,
My name is Andrew but call me Andy. I'm 20 years old from Southern California. 15 Miles from Bear Mountain, Snow Summit, and then like 25 miles from Snow Valley. I started snowboarding in the 2010/2011 season in the spring time. Before my thing was riding dirt bikes / quads and off-roading in my truck. I never thought I'd be able to snowboard, seeing how I could barely stand on a skateboard. But I've always pictured snowboarding as this amazing sport. So I went up to Snow Valley and had a lesson. I was hooked. Sure I fell A LOT that first day, but it was something I knew I wanted to do, and wouldn't give up on. So after that first day I went and bought my setup. Then I'd be committed to keep going and trying to improve. By the end of the season I was doing decently for someone that got a late start. Going down intermediate runs. I even made a trip to Mammoth because all the local slopes were closed. The snow is in my blood now. Every night when I fall asleep I'm linking turns through waist deep POW, or hitting rails and box's. I've never EVER dreamt about riding a dirt bike. But every night is winter for me even in the summer.
