Hey fellow snowboard enthusiasts.
Im Ryan from Florida and go to school in NY. Ive been snowboarding only a handful of times and decided that I needed my own board (mainly because rentals sucked). I got my first board last weekend and gave my baby a test run at the slopes. To be honest shes amazing. This weekend I got through a few ollies on/off features and attempted a 180 (failed miserably at the latter). As a new member to the snowboarding community, I would love any advice. I just ordered my helmet after falling a few times and injuring my knee (not too serious). Ive been looking on Youtube and other video sites to help my boarding and tricks. I mainly want to have fun. Having that snow underneath you is, to be honest, fucking amazing. I also want to be safe too. The online stuff has been great. Any advice for this newbie would be very welcomed. Thank you. -Ryan PS. I need a name for my new baby girl (my board) Its a Burton Joystick with Cartel Bindings. |
