newb trying to board
Hi there, dont know if this is mandatory or not, but im new to snowboarding. From Nebraska, and just went boarding for the first time.
I had some trouble figuring out which way to ride. I ride skateboard regular, am right handed, and slide on ice with my right foot forward (for the old ice slide trick). I started regular footed on my first few rides down, but had trouble turning left on my heelside, so i would just switch to goofy so I could ride toeside. Both ways feel pretty comfortable to me, and i was experimenting on the hill riding switch and also on the lift for which foot i would leave strapped in. I like to leave my right foot strapped in for the lift because i had reconstruction surgery on my left knee and it hurts a bit dangling from the lift with a board. Anyway, little intro to my experience. Looking forward to learning more on here.
