Default New boarder from Guernsey

Hey guys.

As you can probably expect, I'm new here. I live in Guernsey but I'm actually in Banff right now on holiday. I'm 15 and I recently learned how to snowboard at a little resort called Nakiska (not far from Calgary)

As far as snowboarding ability goes, I think I've done pretty well to say I only had lessons for 3 days. I can turn and link turns now, so I think it's all about practicing them again and again, right?
Yeah, snowboarding lessons were fun, and luckily I had a 1 to 1 lesson on Day 3 (even though we paid for group lessons). Unfortunately on day 2 of lessons I tried to practice a bit before the lesson - bad idea. I fell and really hurt my wrists. Luckily nothing was broken or fractured, I just couldn't put much pressure on my wrists for the next couple of days Would probably be a good idea to invest in some wrist guards for the next time I go boarding (and probably invest in some ass padding as well ) Good idea?

Anyway, hopefully see you around the forums!
