Need advice on board & bindings (newbie)

Newbie here from New York....First season, rode okemo, mt. stowe, and camelback.
Absolutely got addicted....by my 3rd time out I'm down the mountain without wiping out. Keeping my board nice and straight and getting faster as I get more confident. I also did a few small jumps as well.

Well....I'm always into getting nice equipment, whether it be for sports or anything else. I know I'm not giving this up and I'm looking to upgrade and need advice on a board & bindings. As I get better out there I don't want to turn around and say I wish I had gotten this set-up rather then the one I have now that I'm more experienced.

I'm 5'7, 170lbs. and currently riding with- burton rulers 9.5, a 2005-ish 152 burton dragonfly. and burton freestyle bindings tht came with it.

If I bought a better board, as a beginner would I really feel the difference?

Anyway, I want to get a lib tech attack banana 153, as my buddy lives and dies by lib tech, and burton cartel bindings.

You think that is a good set-up for me?

Thanks for any advice

I dont know what a dragonfly is, but a rocker should be easier to ride than camber.

It doesnt matter how good or bad your board is, if you cant balance yourself and turn, the board wont make any difference. Nail the basics first, and then look for a board thats suited to how you want to ride.

For the ducketts you're gonna spend on that setup get a 156..as you progress and gain confidence going faster the 156 will keep you more stable..jmo
