Intro!!!

What's up guys and gals? My name is Brandon and I am new to boarding.

My wife and I went for the first time at the beginning of the month and had a blast! I have to say we picked up on it pretty quick. We are really looking forward to getting our own gear and hitting the slopes more often. We will be doing mostly slopes, not really any park and no extreme shit lol (we have a handicapped daughter and we can't afford broken bones). Mainly just cruising the mountain.

I have been doing TONS of research and there is a great amount of info on this site! Some things still confuse me such as all the crazy lingo (chillydog w/ pop type shit) lol. There should an "Intro to boarder talk" section of the forum LOL.

Our first boards will probably be a used set up (minus boots, boots will be NEW and properly fitted!!!) and we will upgrade from there. I can't find out a lot of info on cap construction boards. I was thinking one of these would be fine for my wife as she will be one of the easy riders and I will be a little more demanding from my board so I would like a sidewall board. Any concerns with this?

Sorry for the novel!
