hi from Helena, MT
Whats up! Hi, I'm a 15 year old just getting into snowboarding, but I really like the sport. I started snowboarding less than 2 months ago. So far I spend a lot of my time in the parks, since that's all my local ski hill really has. I'm having fun boardsliding boxes, doing grabs off of any jump around 25 ft, trying some 180s off of a 10 ft jump, and trying (not very well yet) to learn some rails.
Unfortunately I've been riding on a Burton "Learn to Ride" Season Rental package so far, and the boots dont fit well and the board is pretty scratched up. Next season I think I'm going to get myself a good package I'm looking at Union Bindings, the Never Summer Proto, and looking for a nice pair of boots.
I also spend a lot of my time at a hill in Bozeman, where they have good snow and good runs. I did my first double black the other day, slipped, and fell down the whole thing directly under the lift.
I spend about 60% of my time in the Park, and about 40% in powder, andI'm thinking that maybe the proto would work well for that.
Thanks for reading if you did, I hope I can fit in to the community!
