Hey all, I'm Kevin and I stay in Chicago. I actually got into snowboarding quite late, and regret doing so. Skateboarding since 12 (now 23), I only started on the icey stuff 2 years ago.

At first all I did was rent equipment, then I got an used Burton 163 from a buddy. No idea what model it was, but bought Lamar bindings for it and it worked great for my frame (6'4", 195 lbs). This year I'll be going to Big Bear, because a few bros I used to work with live in LA now and they told me it was a good time, and not that far from LAX airport.

This fall I took advantage of a great deal on a NS Legacy 170, with Ride RX bindings in anticipation of going out west often to experience what a REAL mountain is like!
