What is Happening!!!!!!!????

The weather in Alberta, especially Edmonton area has been TERRIBLE! Snow is melting everywhere with highs of plus 13 in the day time?!?!?! Oh mighty snow gods what have we done to displease you?

Today at Louise was pretty depressing. I'd understand if it was March already, but FFS it's mid January.

On the bright side, even though there's not much coverage, the quality's still up there.

Let's all hope that things come around again and we start getting some snow in the forecast.

It's bush league out there, makes me want to go splitting....except the avy conditions are at an all time high. Worst start to the season in recent memory. Its not even lack of snow so much as that bastard of a warm chinook wind.

Oh crap....I thought the mountains were in pretty good shape.....how bad is it? Tell them me all the graphic details....I must know....I can take it....with my eyes closed..........

I was at Sunshine today. -2 at the base of divide and lots of snow. Quite enjoyed it actually.

So many runs so little time.

Ok sounds good! I can handle that!

@hoots and Poutanen...looking at lake louises website it seems the conditions are excellent? lots of snow they say with the back bowls all filled up?

Guh. FUck. Teaching at Snow Valley yesterday was brutal. Most of the instructors ended up in their t-shirts, and I was *far* more dehydrated than I had thought I would be.
