How's Sunshine and Lake Louise looking?

As above, Off out there next week and would be great if I could get a rough idea what the conditions are like at the moment?

Worst start to the year yet... We've had some snow since I was up there last, but it's not great off-piste. The groomers are just fine though...

Was at the lake today. It's pretty bare, and patches of bulletproof ice throughout the front side, but not terrible. Sunshine is doing better, but both desperately need new snow

Pretty rough.

Castle is a mess too, sometimes the wind blows in some nice stuff but it's pretty rocky off the beaten path!

Yes, that is indeed true, but I can tell you that there is no need for the rock board here in Ontario right now. Another 15 cm fresh yesterday / last night :yahoo:

Doesn't sound good then!
Haha sorry guys I thought I was on the Western Canada thread!
Unfortunately it doesn't look good for February, not much snow showing but I know how it can be up there weather can change in seconds!

The back country near sunshine is amazing if you know where you are going. The popular spots are either tracked out or sun burned. As for on piste sunshine is great for carving groomers right now.

How are you finding conditions in the BC? I have seen slides around SSV and LL. I haven't used my split this year, looks pretty sketchy out.
