Default BC Rockies Trip - Where are the goodies?

So me and a 2 buddies are doing a 2 week BC Rockies trip starting January 27-February 10 and will be hitting up Big White / Revelstoke / Kicking Horse / Fernie and wanted to know from your guy's experiences which parts of which are the most awesome.

We arent interested in Park just all mountain + tree terrain.

So far I've heard that these are the sweet spots, wondering if you have anything to add:
Big White - Black Forrest / Gem Lake
Revelstoke - The Ripper
Kicking Horse - Feuz Bowl
Fernie - Lizard Bowl via Great Bear chair

Cheers!

Whitewater, anything on the glory chair. The slight out of bounds stuff is the best.

You got it, I've done that route more than once. Silver star is worth checking out as well while you're down there, but of the mountains you listed big white is my favorite. Check out glades off falcon and powder chair, as well as the far opposite side, off Black Forest chair.

Right now Revvy and Kicking Horse have the best base and seem to have the most snow falling. It's going to get warm this week which might mean some slush in the lower parts of both mountains but they've both been dumped on a few times since christmas so the top 3/4 should be rad still. I'm heading there tomorrow for the weekend so will give an update.

If you're into tree riding then Fuez bowl at KH isn't the best option - it's all steep alpine - which is still amazing. Best trees are off the southside of CPR ridge then once you get to mid mountain there's lots of fun to be had in the glades that separate the main runs.

The T1 and T2 hikes are a must and if you've got your avi gear and conditions are good there's some amazing accessible back country out of the T2 run and the other side of Fuez.

Thanks for the info guys and we have 2 spare days at the end of the trip we left for either resting or going to another mountain Whitewater / Marmot Basin / Silver Star were our 3 options if we do go the snowboard even more route, which we probably will.

Looking forward to the Revvy update! Was looking at the T1 / T2 hikes and looks very tempting but depends on conditions, I havent done my Avi training so might be a tad risky.

T1/T2 are in bounds. You can get OOB runs from there but not necessary. Just scope out lines firs... There's some 30ft blind drops, ask me how I know

Go to Big White or Silverstar failing that. No reason to go to Marmot unless you also want to see Jasper (which is awesome.)

Revy was crazy this last weekend. so much snow. but stuff was so warm that me and my boy were soaking by the time it was noon. Goretex is pretty much mandatory for revy .

It's all going to depend on where it's snowing.

I'd skip going to Fernie and stay closer to Revy, but things could change in week.

This. Don't lock down your plans, follow the snow. Don't think those dates fall over any long weekends so last minutes accommodations should be no problem.

If Castle gets snow I'd suggest hitting that. The chutes there are pretty fun
