I just came back from revelstoke, Best place ive snowboarded handsdown.
Comparable to whistler, theres 4 bowls that take minimal hiking to get to, every terrain you need. It snowed 10 cm overnight while we were there. The stoke and ripper chair were awesome, long runs, good pow in some spots, too bad theyre getting a dry 6 day forecast. We stayed at the same sun, they are friendly and most people blaze there. Good times! |

snow-forecast is useful to find out when the storms are coming, but not how much snow. Still waaay better than Weather Network.
Glad to hear you got some pow in dude it was okay last week, enough snow to get rid of the ice. I had first tracks thru north bowl the other day (a big thing for me cos I'm usually asleep =D), was nice!

Can we do a collective snowdance so the snow forecast for the next couple of days doesn't magically disappear into thin air again? Maybe throw in some form of cold weather ceremony as well? Pleeeeeease let it be gooooood

so true about Snow-Forecast, DiscoStu.
check this one out: http://204.2.104.196/gfs/CONUS_GFS0P...-SNOW_24HR.gif (just replace the "24" with "48", "72" etc for further forecasts) |
