**Mini bump**

I'm heading there in time for the start of the season.. Anyone apply for jobs at the mountain, or, more importantly, has anyone heard back? I know a bunch of people, myself included, who applied for jobs but haven't heard back. It's getting pretty close to the start of the season so kinda wanna lock something down before i get there.
Word on the street is finding a house is hard this year too, which also sucks. Got my season pass tho, so worst result is live at the backpackers and board every day.
How horrible.

I applied up at the mountain too and haven't heard back yet, Two of my roommates applied at some new restaurant their putting in the nelson lodge and they both have interviews on wednesday.

Housing was tough, we got lucky with the house we got, it's right on the cusp of downtown so we're withing walking distance of everything. Been here for two week and loving it so far. Only problem is it's tough to find a job, no one is hiring till december it looks like.

ahh cool... me and a friend both sent an email to the mountain with a 'wtf why haven't you given us a job' sorta thing - but put nicely - and neither of us heard back. Weird...
We're rocking up end of Nov so if they're hiring in December, well, all the better!

Ya we're just holding on here scraping to the bottom of our bank accounts, it'll be tough to see if we can make it.

Let me know when you get here though we'll have to hit up some runs together.
Also as soon as we get jobs and have some funding the roomies and I are going to build a bunch of boxes in our backyard, since the mountain isn't going to have a park this year, should be sick if it all works out.

I got that part, the no park thing surprised me. Are there still kickers or is just backcountry drops?
