I know donutz usually starts this thread each year, but I couldn't wait :)

Its been 95 days since I last rode and if we use Whistlers scheduled opening day of Nov 24 as a guideline, that's 82 days from now.

And seeing Whis typically opens earlier than their posted date and depending on what the local hills do, the wait until 1st ride could well be only 75 ish days away:grin::snowboard1:

Pics of 7th and Peak this morning

You bastard hahaha.
I wanted to start this year's one. Lol

That's it, I'm starting next year's in spring, just after the new year.

Or maybe I'll start my own, next year.

Entitled
Timmytard's valemount thread that never ends..........

Haha, yeah I like the sound of that.

I'm thinking about maybe buying up at that year rounder.
Whatever it's called?

Whistler is too expensive now.

That other one, if it opens next year?
Should be giving land away, or damn close to it.

Then I'm inviting all you hozers over.

Every single person gets an invite, if you ride, you're in.

Even the bum lick adventurer gets one.
Yeah I might have to kick hiss ass a little bit, a few times hahaha.
But who's gonna bring all the crack whores?
He'll smarten up, I'm positive of it:x

Ski? I'll build a lean to on the side for firewood & skiers.
Perfect, that solves the ski problem.

This whole waiting for snow, is bull shit, I tellz ya.
Snow all year round, yeah that's the ticket..

Holy the hamster is in overdrive right now. Haha

I know I could fill a airbnb? I need to Google that I think lol.

Couple vids of non stop powder slaying, that just goes on & on & on & on.

Haha, that's enough to get me there, it's gotta work on everyone @ least a little?

You should just start the thread right now. Guaranteed no one will beat you to it.

This year, I'll be going back to Seymour. Wife likes it better, daughter likes it better, and honestly I'm not sure I like Cypress enough better to kick up a fuss.

Next year, it's a no-brainer. Next year, I'm eligible for the seniors pass-- $99 per year. :embarrased1:

But another 5 years at Cypress.

It's a bit late to post this, however if you guys haven't ever gone to the pacific boarder winter launch party, I recommend checking it out next year.

I've never been to it before and didn't bother mentioning anything because I thought it was just going to be some standard lamo event where the sale prices are the same as any other day.

Went with the gf and as soon as we entered, the door kid asked for ID and boom gave us each a wrist band good for 3 free beers each.

They were also serving free chicken and waffles but didn't try any.

Right there it was worth going. Free booze and food and you didn't have to buy anything.

On the mailer, you could get an additional $20 off any purchase over $100. And they also had an additional 10% off the lowest marked price off of anything.

I was going to wait until turkey sale to pick up a new park board but jumped on this tonight. Last years basic. It was already 30% off and was on sale for $315. After the additional 10% and $20 off I paid $280 all in. Was happy about that :)

I'll take that stomp pad.

Wish it was a regular footed one though.lol

My left Nike shoe, is just soft foam on the bottom.
Foot breaking on my longboard has made em 1/4 lower.

Maybe I'll put a couple carriage boots in there, for some sparks action?

Loll Moto definitely can relate. My bro & I are always on watch as well during preseason; waiting for anything within reach that opens for us to hit up asap. Even if it's just one run open lol. This thirst starts immediately after the last session in Spring, esp the week after. The withdrawals kick in heavy lol :nerd:.

But ya, started to officially plan our Whis "pilgrimage" with my lady, my bro & few buddies in our riding crew for this upcoming season. Date set is end of Jan to first week Feb. If any of you are down to link up at some point and show us the goods/ride some laps with us, more than welcome to. F1EA already mentioned he was down to meet up, which is sick. My cousin lives out in Van City so he said he will be showing us around but I'm sure there's many awesome & less busy spots/lines that he might not know of, that some of you may. Besides, think it'd be sweet to ride with some of you fellow SBF BC rippers. Also def want to see these legendary Trace app stats in the flesh, *Moto* loll. I'll try my best to keep up :nerd: haha.

Well, I don't feel an urge to make a new thread for Mt. Washington so can we stick it with Vancouver?
Drove up there today to pick up my season's pass, they said they wouldn't be printed until November! Hmpf. I was all excited, my first season pass in the better part of 10 years!

Any other islanders going to be shredding Washy religiously this year?
(Also roommates wanted in Courtenay/Comox/Cumberland too!) I'm in Nanaimo now, but my jeep is so thisrty

I don't trust Vancitybuzz as imo they are only as reliable as the source they copy and paste their news from or its the random Starbucks hipster gossip they over hear and print as news, however wowza, 46 cents on Saturday :)

My cuz msgd us today saying you guys just had a huge storm pass and as a result, higher altitudes like Whis got dumped on. An awesome sign for the season.

The east is projected to have an above avg snow year this winter. Really hope this almanac prediction comes thru esp after such a terrible snow year this past season.
