Big White

Who's been there and how is it? Obviously I know it won't stand up to Revelstoke or Fernie like we've gone to the last couple years, but its something different, all ski in/out, and supposedly good snow. Any input from people who've been there?

Great for vacation and partying b/c of the ski-in-ski-out factor.
Really good snow park.
That's it.

you know of any good hidden spots to check out? how are the snow conditions near mid-end february usually? and is there any killer terrain that you might just happen to stumble across after getting sick of the groomed?

Couple friends went up there for a week a few seasons ago. They described it as something like a bigger Baker with a great vibe on the hill and in town.

Sorry I've only spent a few days there so I don't have much insider tips or stashes for you.
Snow is usually pretty good quality there (dry). I'm not too sure about February's snowfall in that region, but if you're coming from Ontario I'm sure it will be great compared to back home!

What time does the season really get going at Big White? Seriously considering it for a month or two. What's the deal with season lift tickets? There's no prices on their website. Where would be a good place to stay for an extended period of time?! Obviously i don't want to be pay $150 a night, something more like $1000 a month or something would be sweet.

Holy crap I can't believe how cheap that is for a season! Any suggestions about where I should stay? I'm probably coming alone so a long-term hostel or share house would be sweet.
