What's with the Peak quad chair on Grouse? - Snowboarding Forum

This is just casual curiosity on my part as I don't go on Grouse much, but the Peak quad chair always seems to be on standby or closed. Is it broken? Or is there some reason why they don't like using it?

they don't feel like paying anybody to stand at the bottom and press the slow/stop button

olympic makes it redundant anyways

So, it'll only be in use when the lower runs are shut down? Makes sort of business sense, but sucks nonetheless. I'd like to be able to just ride the Peak run without having to go all the way down.

Actually they do run both the peak quad and olympic at the same time when it is super busy.
