a skier got buried on the backside. they closed a lot of the mountain after that, then opened the front side for the rest of the day. patrol said he was fine. i think he got air lifted out, a chopper flew out of the backside pretty low.

Sounds like the avy was pretty low key and the guy didnt get buried. Not sure if you guys read this but its an interesting read on mountain operations without any marketing bullshit. Yesterday at Louise was good. . . Today was ridiculous.
Got into the back bowls just as the opened it, and same for Paradise bowl. Even the last run of the day I was still tracing fresh uncrossed lines through glades. . . Amazing day! |
