6 hrs is a long drive for only a partial hill. Sunshines not going to be fully open and the chairs that they normally open first will be some very short runs. Should be a good time as long as you know what to expect. I've been reading some good things about lake louise so maybe consider that place too. Calgarys normally a pretty boring city but I can't complain with the amount of hills within a 3-4 hr drive.

![]() I obviously would prefer finding somewhere to stay or splitting hotel with someone but I don't really want to wake up to a missing kidney or all my gear stolen. Where are you driving from? |

Open day has been moved forward to Thursaday. Should be some good stuff up there but keep in mind it is early season so dont expect the world. I think they will have 4 chairs open, Standish, Strawberry, Wolverine and Wawa.
