hey everyone, My names Liam, I thought I'd start a kelowna/Big White 2011/2012 thread. I'm new to kelowna and this will be my first year riding at Big White but I bought a seasons pass so I'll be up there all the time. Who else rides at Big White? I'm looking forward to meeting some new people to ride with this winter! What else is there to do at Big White, what's the village and bars like ect?

We did a boys trip to big white last year and had some of the coldest weather we've ever been in. Out of the 2 days we had planned to ride we rode a total of 3 hours. The high was -24 which was not nice. The hill looked to be pretty sweet though, they had some nice tree lines, a crazy park and a pretty fast boarder cross track. Ive never seen trees that caked with snow before there, I heard they were called tree ghosts lol. At the end of the day we went to a pretty fun aqautic center that had one of those Flowrider surf simulators that was pretty fun(you need a drivers license though).

Did a couples trip for our first time last Feb 2011.
Going again but as Boys Trip this January. Is there a big diff in weather between these two months? We had 2 blue birds out of the 4 days there on our first time. This time around no gf so Im logging in tons of runs along with two (possible three) GoPro's
