They have multiple options as usual, this year the full RCR pass is $989 for an adult and includes Fernie, Kimberley, Nakiska and Kicking Horse. Last year we paid $899 for just the first three, so an additional $90 for Kicking Horse is pretty good if you ask me.

We're going to get the super pass which includes Lake Louise for $1229. Considering we were at Lake Louise 4 times this year, and would have gone a few more times had we had season passes, the extra $230 is worth it to get the Lake included.

Yeah it really only makes sense if you live within day trip distance of at least one of the resorts. We were at Nakiska quite a lot this winter as it's only 1:10 away from us. Lake Louise is 2:00 door to door so it's easy for a day trip, leave at 7:00 am and can be home by dinner. KH and Fernie will be weekend trips at least.

Forgot to mention the sale ends June 16th...

If you're down this way next season let me know, we get family/friends free passes and discounts at all the RCR resorts plus LL next year. My buddy boarded for free a few weeks ago with us!

I would say the horse is going to be a shit show this year with this deal. Its crazy busy there now on a pow day and this wont help things. Hopefully RCR pull their finger out and get a new lift in there ASAP.

I've heard a lot of negatives about RCR, but they did put a new lift in at Fernie this year (which is NEVER OPEN ), and I think they put money into Nakiska after taking it over, didn't they?

I know Kimberley's biggest fault is the lack of high speed lifts. The one high speeder comes down into the village across a bridge that gets icy and congested even on a quiet day. With some more high speed lifts it'd be a fun hill for a change once or twice a year. Until then I'll never go back.

Yeah considering it's only $90 more now with KH added on, a lot of RCRers will be heading to Kicking Horse now methinks. I'll try to stick to mid-week trips to avoid the crowds if it's really that bad there. So far the busiest place I've been this year was Lake Louise a few times. But I found if you stay on the upper half of the front face, or head into the back there were no lines. Even when there's a 5-10 minute + line at the gondola and the lower high speed chair the top of the world 6 man was good.

Hey Poutanen, if you are going to head to Fernie again next year let me know. It's already on my list for next year myself and I would love to ride with some one else and especially another member! Pending that's cool with you.

That's Tremblant on a Saturday. I can't imagine the RCR pass will do that to Kicking Horse

Yeah, when we moved here last year I was originally thinking Big 3 passes, but assuming you're never going to go to Norquay, that's only two resorts essentially side by side. We hit all the resorts on our pass this year, but next year probably won't go to Kimberley unless they do some major lift upgrades.

So effectively this is a 4 resort pass for us with all of the resorts being a good distance from each other. If Fernie's getting rain the Lake might be getting powder and vice versa. We're stoked for next year already!!!

Absolutely man!!! We love Fernie and will definitely be there a bunch next year. I'm debating about renting a room or an apartment for the winter so I can spend every third week down there. We'll see how it goes but I'm up for Fernie whenever you're up for it. Love the place!

That picture can't be real can it!?!?! The longest lift line I was in this year took about 5 minutes and I was bent by the time I got on the lift LOL. A couple times at Lake Louise my GF and I split up and I hit singles lines on the lower lifts and tried to stay on the advanced stuff more often than not.

Truth be told, it certainly does look doctored.

But, that really is what Tremblant is like on a Saturday. 30 minute lines at the gondola, 15-20 minutes at every other lift and lots of people everywhere

Makes me laugh when I go out west and wait 3-4 gondola cars for my turn to load and have a local say "Dude, crazy busy today"
