was up at cypress today to pick up my pass, there blowin mm on black mountain looks fairly dece but still its mm so itll be sketch as hell even so im thinking im gunna hike it tomorrow.

@ least 8 pairs of bindings + lots more of everything, jackets, pants.

This is good to hear as they needed to step up their beginner obstacles to allow progression for the new to park riders...

I'm no park rat but I do happen to like top to bottom hits like they had last season on mystery. Fucking hot laps on that new quad will have me pissing my pants, especially if they step it up even more this year with teh building of even more shit

This was not the case until last year when they put in the magic carpet, took out the rope tow and subsequently removed mushroom park to prevent the park riders from using the carpet. Previous to last year Mushroom had always been a great set up for beginners and comps. ( maybe they were actually reading my wtf? emails). Anyways it is great to hear they are rethinking the park for beginners and good news they are also moving Young Guns park down the old half pipe as this area of the mountain was not being utilized very effectively. New zones in nut house?? Sweet!! As a long time seasons pass holder I am excited about these positive changes!

Yeah, I got the impresssion the park rats were acting like a biker gang, cutting into line, terrorizing the newbs

. Honestly, I thought the line going into Chuck's last season was a better beginner setup than they'd had in previous years. It really looks like it's going to be a great season this year - if we ever get some that that, you know, the white stuff we slide on? Been so long since I've seen any...
