So funny how immediately after Cypress announces they're opening Wednesday morning, Grouse announces they'll open the bunny hill and jib park for Tuesday evening. Super stoked though

Well, who is all going up to Cypress for opening day?

I'm pretty sure I'll be there.

If any of you guys are planning to hit it up, we should all get together.

I'm part of a Vancouver snowboard group created on Facefuckbook.
There will be lots of them there as well, it grows every day. It's got more than 100 peeps @ the moment. Here's one of our members....

The group of guys I slalom longboard with will all be up there too. They will all most likely be hard bootin', but if you see one say hi, they're cool.
If you think your slick ask one of them for a race, you'll get your ass handed to you.

I'll be the loud guy @ the front of the line, rallying the troops to get that air bag free.

I think im a fair weather boarder, because the more I think about hiking to get to crappy snow, and waiting in lines opening day/week for crap snow the mroe I say fook that. Ill get a couple extra leg workouts in at the gym and start when the conditions are good and the initial buzz is gone.

Thanks to cool temperatures, impressive snow making and new snow Whistler Mountain will open early on Saturday, November 17 at 8:30am. Guests will have the option to upload from either the base of Whistler Village Gondola or the Creekside Gondola to access 1800 vertical feet of skiing and riding via Emerald Express, Big Red Express and the Franz Chair. Blackcomb Mountain will open, as scheduled, Thursday, November 22.

My buddy and I hit up Cypress in the glorious sunshine yesterday. Amazing day, great conditions for groomer fun, no clouds and lots of sun, almost non-existant lines, super happy I went.

Looking forward to getting up there this season, hoping to make proper progress and finally get out to Whistler for the first time. Also Timmy I might take you up on last years' offer if it still stands.
