Weird, I thought the airbag was setup in a way that you could ride out of it if you actually landed right.. Guess it's way too soft, eh? Looks like fun though.

I thought that too, until they posted a picture of it on Facebook.

It should be the kind that you ride away from.
You should see the people flopping around like turtles on their backs, it's so time consuming.

Not being able to ride it out creates huge waiting times. Even if you wiped out, if the barrier wasn't there it would carry you away from the landing zone so the next guy could go.

This was I think my 2nd or 3rd jump, my last 3 jumps I was able to land & ride right into the big orange barrier. If they had bought one of the ones displayed on Katal's web site, you would be able to ride away.

It's definitely cool, but not near as cool as it should be.

No I wasnt the old skier guy LOL....i was wearing the black YES touque and we chatted breifly when you got off the air bag....I commented on how relaxed and laid out your inverts look. And yes the little guy is my 10 yr old son.

BTW can you imagine what the line up for the air bag would be like if it was included with your day pass????

Yes I've thought about that, but I can live with that, if I don't have to pay.

I'd be lookin' @ upwards of a hundred grand if they charged for it all year.

I'm just pissed off cause me & a buddy had a corporate deal going on.
We sold over 100 seasons passes. Four times as many as the second leading group. So anywhere from $80,000-$100,000 dollars of revenue.
On top of that NO ONE HAS EVER SOLD THAT MANY. Ever.
We more than doubled the previous record.

I talked to one of the staff & they said the air-bag cost about $15,000.
Me & my buddy basically paid for that, 6x over.

They still had roughly $80,000 dollars change after purchasing that with the money we made them.

I only have a silver pass & they plan on only having it up on the weekends & over the holidays.
Holidays & weekends in Jan-Feb are restricted for me.

As a reward, we have to pay & only get to use it for 6-8 weekends in March & April.

Very kind of you Cypress, thank you sooo much.

I tried some overalls in the store and didn't like them. In still looking for some long pants. It seems that most brands only make them in 32 inseam. I need a 34/36 minimum.

I think I'll have to get some slim fitting ski pants.

On a side note, I'd suggest you contact some higher ups at cypress and tell them exactly what you just wrote up there. I guarantee you they'll walk backwards for you, maybe not the airbag thing, but at least lift the restrictions. Lots can be achieved if you reach the right people. The staffers at the counter have no power. Go after the big boys. Look em up on linked in, email the head office, I'm sure you can manage.

If I was the CEO of cypress operations and had a guy like you make 100 000$ of business for me, I'd make sure to reward you, but I'm sure it just hasn't reached his desk.

Just make sure they don't restrict movement! Made that mistake last season, pants not even all that skinny but they were weirdly slim around the thighs. I don't have big legs either. Felt like my stance was too wide
