I've never really had much of a problem getting a ride holding a board.

Missed the last bus once @ Coquitlam center & had to walk to Maple Ridge with gear in hand @ 2:30am. Got picked up by a girl by herself & driven right to my door.

After she picked me up, I even told her she shouldn't pick up guys driving alone, especially @ 2:30am.

She said "But you had a snowboard, I knew you weren't a murderer"

I'm big on Karma though, & I never drive by a hitch-hiker.

Glad it all worked out for you.
More people should do it, & don't worry, it has a way of workin' out.

scour Craigs for 2 for 1's, sometime you can get a wicked deal if you buy a lot of 2 for 1's.

Which, if you are going to whistler, I guarantee you won't have any left when you leave.

There is always a line-up to buy tickets @ Whistler & 95% of those people are payin' full price,.

You could buy 100 2 for 1's & sell everyone of them in under 5 min.
@ $117 after taxes, every single person in that lineup wants one.

Hahaha....nice. Thanks for the heads up. What I have noticed when searching for these deals on CL are the blackout periods. I'm planning for a March trip and it seems that for all these 2-1 vouchers have the whole of March is blacked out. I'm guessing all 2-1s are similar?

What are costco prices like?

That's the forecast that seymour links to that is at the bottom of the resort. I don't know why they do that. I usually look at mid-mountain... just to try ignore rain warnings lol.

Goin' to Cypress. I'm leavin' Maple Ridge right now, stoppin' to pick up a buddy @ Metro-town.
I'll check to see if anyone wants to come up with us when I get to his house.

For the whissy dudes, anyone ever attempted to hike up to the excelerator chair on the blackcomb side from coast mountain hotel? I'm looking at it on google earth, and it seems like a decent 45 min hike. I'd do it for a 110$.

Yeah I've met a few people who have done it. They said it took them about an hour, it's not really patrolled or anything but you still gotta watch out.
