wow that looks like a good base is starting to form for Seymour... I'm hoping cypress gets as much snow... though from their Facebook picture the snow doesn't look as thick as Seymour's...

We should definitely all meet up. When do you want to go Sat or Sun? Where do you plan on going @ Seymour? Up or down? I'm going up to Cypress to get my pass tomorrow, I think I'll bring a board just encase. I plan to be there opening day & everyone & their dog will be standing in line for that. I don't do lineups very well. TT

With the forecast calling for rain this weekend, I ended up heading up to seymour with a friend and a shovel yesterday.
As soon as we got there, 2 other random boarders arrived with the same intentions as us. When we were trying to decide where to build a jump, there were 3 other boarders leaving who had already built a jump, so we just put fresh snow on the landing and made the jump bigger and nicer. We sessioned the jump for an hour or two, then decided to hike up for a run back down to the parking lot to end the day. About twenty minutes into our hike, some skiier came ripping down the mountain. Very minimal rock dodgin was required on our short-but-sweet run down, it was suuuuuper fun. If you're fiending as much as we were/are, it's totally worth going up before the rain this weekend. |

the rain thats forecast for this weekend is for the city, they dont take into account freezing levels for regular folk. like say yesterday rain was forecast but you didnt mention leaving cause of the rain or anything. |

Unfortunately the rain forecasted is on snow-forecast , which is factoring in the elevation. |
