Yeah I wish they'd at least put a slow double chair there, but on the other hand the platter keeps it fresh. So I'm okay either way...

Wonder if you can ride it with the arm behind your ass. My friend showed me how to do it on the T-Bar but I suck at it. Maybe I'll go mid week when no one is there and test it out.

The arm sort of curves right before the platter, and I hold it down a little lower so it doesn't do the ball squisher. The only issue for me is it pushes right on the muscle and sort of hurts, I just shift positions a bit and try to use more arm strength to hold the pressure off my leg.

I haven't taken it more than 3 times in a day, not sure what it's like doing a whole day on the platter!

You might look like a baseball pitcher/ tennis player after with the muscle imbalance after a season of nothing but platter.

And my current hatred of Lake Louise continues with the question....why the f#%k would a person drive 1.5hrs to ride a platter lift all day??... Because the rest of the hill is just rocks and ice and cat tracks.... Super lame. Seriously... A platter lift..... They have a new gondola and a 6 person chair.. But they still can't upgrade the summit platter...I'll spend my cash on some places that have snow.

That's why I usually spend most of my time on the top of the world, you can access decent off-piste stuff from it, as well as some groomers for my perpetual need to bomb. The platter just gets me up to the "ultimate steeps". Although in may when the rest of the hill was slush or ice, it was still powder up there.
