Well it was nothing like the one you went to then.
What a joke, they didn't have any new hard goods. They had about 10 of last years beat up boards for $250 & up. Used boots & bindings for $150 & up each. They all seemed really arrogant, so I asked one of of the snottier ones if he sold anything yet? Didn't think so. The Salomon one had even less, but they were nice @ least. I went to the 4 on 4th after cause it was fairly close. One of the shops carries lots of less mainstream brands like Santa Cruz, Elan, Flow, Tech Nine, & a shit load of ones I never heard of. I wrote some of the name down & googled them, some of the boards ended up being @ wiredsport.com. You could get any profile deck you wanted for under $200. There are so many diff profiles out there, maybe we could get a review on some of the cheapo ones? I tried to fold em in half, no cracking sounds or anything. I don't know how good Santa Cruz boards are but they look wicked. They're light, snappy & barely over $150. TT
