early season marmot or sunshine

I'm an advanced rider going out nov19-20 which mountain will put more early season smiles on my face. Thanks

PS marmot is supposed to be opening upper mountain on the 17th

Wait and see whats open closer to the day. I know Sunshine has all but goats, teepee and divide open. Thats already waaaaay more than they normally do. Keep in mind you need more snow the steeper it gets so the crazy shit normally opens last!

So many runs so little time.

Sunshine for sure, no matter what time of year. Marmot has some decent intermediate terrain at best, but no snow (example last season was a record year with 500cm lol)
Sunshine has some flat areas but plenty of gnarly steeps/drops many hidden and often untracked a couple days post storm.
Honestly though, in Alberta the skiing isn't very good until late March or April when there is finally enough p-tex covering the rocks
