Those articles are always such a joke... I basically quit reading snowboard mags because they're 99% crap. There's a couple decent ski mags (ie: powder) but even then it's fair at best... money runs the show.

Yeah that's one thing that always kills me. So many people just rate a resort based on it's terrain and/or snow. Well they're both useless if you're standing in line all day to ride, or if you're on slow lifts.

For me short lines and fast lifts are a very close second to snow quality and terrain.
