Crazy amounts of snow around for this time of the year. Sunshines facebook pages says they will open the dive today. All the resorts in the area have had great snow this week. Nakiska got 33cm last night.

Yep that's big news. Generally AB is pretty boney until springtime and usually the Dive doesn't open until close to new years (or even as late as Feb Mar) but the start to this season has been exceptional. The eastern prairies have bee in full-on winter since early Oct and as u mentioned AB has been getting plenty of snow the past few weeks.
K-Pow is always on the ball with condition updates on their FB page. The Dive in November... right on!! |

I'm probably going to head to Nakiska Saturday... Wish they were open tomorrow I'd take the day off. If I'm there for first chair Sat should be able to get in 5-6 runs in the powder before it's all trashed! After that the groomers should be good. Hope they've got more terrain opening soon I'm sick of these one run free-for-alls.
GO AB/BC!!!
