Avalanche. I've got 3 definitely coming so just need to find out if my other half wants in - she's out right now. If not then we're good to go.

It was still good when I left at 3:30. Do you have a beacon? Have you done the dive before?

THey should get more snow tonight. Can you call in sick tomorrow once you have seen the snow report?

Castle was super sick today, and dumpin huge when I left, if there is anyway you can make it up for monday it will be epic.

I was in DD and WW for the first time today. AMAZEBALLZ. Puts SSV up there with the best resorts. DD is comparable to KH and WW to revy. Best day of the year so far.

If they would just fix their park i don't know that i would ever need to go anywhere else with the exception of some variaty and if some where else gets pounded with snow. I think im going to go back to a seasons pass there for next year. I will just pay to ride LL for park only.

I'm doing my AST 1 next week, then I'll buy a transceiver etc.. After that if we get another pow day I'll have to tag along with one of you into the dive.. Either that or pay $400 out of my arse to have a guided trip in there.

Today was sick though, my wifes first powder adventure and she loved it - despite getting stuck in a tree with thigh deep pow rendering her a flailing mess.

Any word on the ground on conditions in Fernie, Kicking Horse or Lake Louise? Been burnt by Red (hard packed. REALLY hard packed) and Whitewater (reports had snow, and there was, but there was a crusty layer underneath that meant the powder wasn't, well, powder! Still more fun than Whitewater though) and half way through the Kootenays right now. Had planned on heading to Fernie, then KH, then LL, but plan is very flexible.

To be fair, we had some great days in Revy before the wet snow hit. And despite all the snow Whistler has gotten I've been told the rain made shit of it.

Where IS good in this area at the moment?

Any help much appreciated!
