Yeah, at the moment the weather network is saying 5-10 tomorrow at LL, and another 5 on Wednesday.

In other news, anybody been to Kimberley lately? We're heading there next Sunday, probably do a day in Fernie and two in Kimberley or vice versa. Although they're talking about 8-10 degree daytime highs next weekend there!

my friends were at fernie at the weekend, said it was quite nice but the warm temps and rain turned most of the snow to pancake batter by yesterday afternoon

Was in Fernie last Wed to Fri - conditions were very good. Wednesday there was still pockets of powder to be found from the last snowfall and then there was fresh snow on Wed night. Plus not everywhere was opened up Thurs, so Friday was good too. They've had more snow since so if the conditions keep up you should be good.

Loved Fernie for the record. Layout is excellent, Mother Nature did a good job there!

I'm still heading to the Lake Friday and Saturday for this competition. Supposed to be flurries until then, brief break in the sky on Friday, then snow again for the foreseeable future after that!!!

Gotta love our winters. January was warm and dry, but the groomers were still in good shape, Feb came in quiet then had good snow, now it's snow snow snow in the forecasts!

That was your first time right?!? Did you make it up polar peak at all? Too bad I wasn't there to show you around, there are some spots on that hill that can hold nearly fresh powder for weeks after a snowfall. I just love it there. When it's good it's REALLY GOOD!

Yep, first time and thankfully made it up to PP as well. It was closed the first two days but the third day it open and had some great runs down through untouched powder. Even at the very end of the day there was still some short blank lines to be had at the end of the cat track down. It's a lot bigger than I expected, so I can well imagine there are spots like that!

In LL at the moment - there was decent snow last night and first tracks this morning were great but it got tracked out pretty quick. Though to be fair we were keeping it simple and staying in bounds and not hiking anything (I'm still getting over a bout of flu). Incidentally, the Great Divide Lodge deal is fantastic, it's cheaper to get there stay-and-ski then to just buy a day pass!

I know, just as we're leaving... luck bastards!

I'm riding solo on Sunday at either sunshine or louise depending on who's got best snow.

I'll be at Sunshine tomorrow (friday) and this sunday as well. If anyone wants to meet up let me know. I need someone to head into the Dive/Wild West with also, finally picked up a beacon/shovel/probe, so if anyone is hitting those runs up this weekend let me know.
