Blonde, Larissa I think was her name. Very helpful but methinks they don't get too many crazy BX board loving guys in there. Stiffness is measured on a whole other scale for race boards...

She said they won't come down much before they close up for the summer. You ever seen any 50% off sales there?!?

Nah they usually keep old stock and sell it for next season. 20-30 is max for hard goods.

The locations ensures they always have someone buying the stuff at high prices...

I train every day of my life as they have never trained a day in theirs. Alexander Karelin

I'll be riding solo tomorrow so let me know if anyone wants to meet up...I was tempted by LL just cause it sounds like a few people might be there, but the forecast says cloudy and Sunshine says sunny....I might have to follow the sun... Still kind of undecided at this point. I'd like to avoid the ice as much as possible If I can as well. Has anyone been out in the last couple of days? What are conditions like?

Well Louise was in about the worst condition I've ever seen it yesterday. I didn't stick around long enough for anything to really turn into slush, though that would have been an improvement.

I hiked for half an hour off the top of the platter to get to the very peak of Hikers Peak. Had some "fresh" turns down the boundary bowl and wild gully, but even those were crush on top of slush. Still a fun lap and I've never been to that part of the resort before, so was good to see.

Everything else was hardpack. I took a couple park laps and it was empty (good) because it was like speedchecking on a hockey rink before each jump (bad). Still I did some good airs and felt comfy on the jumps.

By noon we ended up at the base and grabbed some food and beer, and then took off. Still, all things are relative in this world. Rode up the lift with a couple from the Boston area who thought it was just a fantastic day!

There were brown spots showing through in a lot of places, we're due for a dump.

Torpedo didn't have the best day at Sunshine either. If we don't get snow real soon, it may be close to finished. Speaking of which, the gang here needs to find another summer hobby to get into. Any thoughts or ideas? Besides pub nights..haha.
