Kicking Horse Saturday (didn't get pics Sunday but conditions were just as good, wind was higher and it was snowing though...)

It'll be OUTSTANDING if anyone is heading up mid-week.

Just spent the weekend at Kicking Horse again - unreal. The snow stopped puking on Wednesday/Thursday but there were fresh lines to be had all over T2 if you could handle the hike. T1 ridge had amazing lines dropping in to the dare & truth chutes... Even by the end of the day yesterday T2 & some of the later Fuez lines (coffin chutes) were barely touched. I also ventured for the first time into the slack country out of T2 which was up there with the terrain at Chatter Creek.

Epic weekend, my legs hurt.

SHIT that run of T2 looks like fun! How long was the hike? We were going to do it Sunday but the wind was howling, stuck to the gondola and a couple brave rides up stairway, then back down under the chair...

The far chutes in Feuz Bowl (sp?) were great, but they were 45 deg chutes, then longer flatter area. The run you took looked like a nice fall line run the whole way down.

I started down crazy legs but instead of carving left into Superbowl I cut under the boundary straight ahead and followed the fall line into the trees. You've got to pick your line carefully as there are some unexpected drop offs and cliffs. It's a pretty consistent angle until you get to the shrub line where you have to start cutting back left to make your way onto the cat track which is flat - but I never had to skate/hike out of it once.

Delirium Dive opens on Thursday! According to their twitter though...

"The Sherpas and some local athletes on a film shoot in the Dive today...they left some nice tracks!"

looking at the pic posted with it, it appears like it will be tracked out before it even opens.
