Thanks! ^^^ Sounds like what I've heard other people say about it.
Well Nakiska yesterday wasn't bad. The groomers were in pretty good shape all day, only a couple icy patches near the end of the day on some of the steeper sections. They have their BX course/park setup now so we blasted through there a few times, got some good air! The GF tried out her new board and LOVED IT! ![]() Debating about heading out of town this Sun/Mon but it may be a disaster with Family Day weekend crowds. LL is supposed to get more snow than Fernie or KH, but I imagine the farther we get from the city the thinner the crowds will be. |

went to sunshine on Friday and then again on Sunday. they've been getting dusted with snow quite regularly so the conditions were actually pretty good. Spent most of Friday lapping Standish hitting the little lips and features before cutting through the small trees.
Yesterday we hiked up wawa ridge and managed to get some fresh tracks. There's some nice kickers built up there too with soft, fluffy landings. All in all - a lot better than I expected all things considering. |

That mini park is pretty sweet - though when i was there on Friday the last kicker went into a spine - so there was a hip on both sides.. And it was gone yesterday.
I took the advice and hiked for some fresh. Say what you will about SSV but for a place that hasn't had much snow recently, it really does stay quite nice up there. Even the groomers aren't ice-tastic. Compared to spring riding in the alps this is heaven. |

Spent Sunday and yesterday at Lake Louise. Pretty good snow on Sunday, yesterday it was actually a little more crusty but still pretty excellent for a long weekend!
![]() If anybody's heading up this week, there is good powder to be found but you'll have to work for it. Not bad for rock coverage either. |

Spending all week out at Fernie. They have a good snowpack, but seem to be lacking on the fresh stuff as of late. You can still find powder thats untracked if you know where to look, or if you don't mind a little foray into the trees.
