No offence or anything, and I really mean this in the nicest possible way, but I hate you.

So much that it hurts.

Now that the record for November snowfall has been officially shattered, I say we do a mini-meet to celebrate. I've been thinking about touring off Whistler (or even just Seymour). FacePlanter and Dano have shown interest and it would be great to have more people.

Super keen on that - would be even more keen if someone was driving from the east - I'll be in penticton and have about 4 days of time to kill before work starts. So I'm down if i can get a ride (like $100 for bus so..)

I managed to get my little brother out to Cypress today for his first ever day on a board, and man am I glad I did! He absolutely loved it, and ended up getting a private lesson since the mountain was so dead! Monday morning, snow was decent(at least before it starting raining a little before 3PM), and made for a fun first day on the mountain. Granted only the Lions chair and easyrider were open, but was great for not being on a hill since February (damn ankle sprain again... On crutches for a couple weeks with no motion in my foot, for the 3rd damn time in 4 years).

Definitely going to be watching snow reports to see what day I take him back next week for his second day on mountain. He's ready for tomorrow, but I can't see the snow being great after rain, and school's kind of important to my parents for the grade 5 little bum...

I would love to get down on this, as well as my roommate. We both have transcievers, shovels, probes, and a few trips under our belt, but by far not experienced enough. Would love to head up with some people who know the area a bit

Is whistler backcountry really accessible without a sled? I'd be down for seymor even...
