I am also Dutch. And indeed, it sucks to live in Holland and you have to wait every year to board a week, while you know there are so much people who can board every day.
Last week I visit La Joue du Loup (Superdevoluy). I really liked it there, nice pistes and the party's were also really nice haha. Onfortunately the funpark wasn't maintained. Ooh and I have question. I really want to do a snowboard instructor course next year, but I really do not know where, does anyone have suggestions? |

I am from Czech Republic, found World Snowboard Guide as a very reliable and complete source of information.

Hey there! I'm an Aussie living in Munich so doing a lot of day trips to the Austrian alps every weekend - we have had a good season so far (unlike last year - only three trips and snow all gone in THE MIDDLE OF FEBRUARY!!!). Looking forward to getting some holidays soon and making some longer trips further afield.

So off to SkiWelt in a few hours
![]() Heard that there was fresh snow this week( only a few cm) and there might be more today, fingers crossed, although I'm not to sure how much boarding I will get down as I did my back in on sunday and was in hospital and have been diagnosed with a lumbago, so been on heavy pain killers and it is still sometimes painful.... but hell, I don't get to board that often, so I'll just have to bit the grit ![]() Is it just me or has the apres ski in austria died down a bit over the last few years? I know during the high season weeks( X-mas and feb school holidays), this won't be the case, but I've heard and seen a big change over the last few yrs. Although this weekend I'm with 7 mates, so we will be making the apres ski

So, Had a great weekend in the ski-welt area. Fantastic conditions, -20, blue skies with plenty of sun
Apres Ski has died, and is only great during the holidays, but we were with 6 guys, so made our own apres ski there. the quality of the snow was fairly decent considering it hadn't snowed for 3 weeks. Back there in 3 weeks ![]() Already looking for a place for 20 of us for next yr
