Indeed, but I watched the skimap and the flatspots seem to be mostly at the bottom of the mountain, and i'm pretty much planning to stay on top and do mostly red, black lines and off-piste. Anyway, still making the best of it

I always go boarding in Austria or France, because in Belgium we only have small hills. My favourite is Austria because you also have a very good atmosphere after boarding. I am now planning to go boarding in Chile and Argentina this summer
![]() And i realy recommend you to go to Mayrhoven or Solden (Austria), or Les trois Vallees (france) Last edited by Sir G.; 01-07-2013 at 03:06 PM. |

Live in Rome - go boarding in the Apennines east of Rome (Abruzzo) - Ovindoli and Campo Imperatore.
Both just a couple of hours max on the motorway. Campo Imperatore has some of the best off-piste in Italy, it's on Gran Sasso - the highest mountain in the Apennines (2900m) and basically the whole resort is freeride all the way down to the valley. When there's fresh pow, we hit it, otherwise Ovindoli - a sleepy little resort with a good vibe. Cheap and cheerful really. My favourite resort in Italy is Bardonecchia near Turin. Absolutely amazing snowpark and you can reach the town easily by train. Resort is 1km from the trainstation. Love Mayrhofen in Austria too - I try to get there for a week every year. Great snow all over Italy this year
