Question Chamonix 2011/12

Hey all!!!

I'm planning to head to Europe for the winter season 2011/12 and trying to way up a few options as to which resort/town to choose......the best overall place to ride/party/live.
I've been looking at a few resorts in Austria that look amazing aswell as Chamonix, France.
I've done a few seasons in Revelstoke, Canada so I guess i'm more into the mountain riding style.

Any info/help would be awesome!

Chamonix has the longest lift accessible run/ most vertical in the world I think. YOu gotta do that one time before you die right? It's something stupid like 12-13 MILES

if you want to go to Austria, go to the Wilder Kaiser area. I've been to Ellmau a few times and I'm heading back there the second weekend of Feb for the weekend and also bad with GF the second weekend of march for 5 days.

Wilder Kaiser is the biggest linked area in Austria

France is great boarding, but the apres ski and atmosphere isn't anywhere as good as austria, and I just don't get along with the frenchies
