Which board to get? Burton Restricted Lip-Stick or Gnu Beauty

Trying to decide on getting either the Gnu Beauty 2014 or the Burton Restricted Lip-Stick.
I ride in Ontario with a blue mountain membership. Ocassionally I hit up BC and ride whistler. I'm looking for something that is flexible in mountain and park/jibbing. I'm in probably a intermediate-advanced boarder. Need some feedback please.

Useless trivia: If you cross the wires in a mic it becomes a speaker.

ACTUALLY, that's not true:

- If you are playing music to a speaker (from an amp) and cross the wires it's now 180 deg out of phase. If you're listening to one speaker, this means nothing, but if you have two or more speakers and one is out of phase it will sound very hollow and spacey.

- A mic is just a very well made little speaker (for the most part) but they are wired into the input side of an amplifier (in this case a mic amp). If you reverse the wires on one mic, again it shouldn't make a difference, running two or more mics and then they'd need to all be in phase.

So technically you can play music from a mic, and use a speaker as a mic, but simply flipping the wires will just put them out of phase.

Pwned.

Back to snowboards.

If you're looking to ride park at all get the LipStick. The Beauty is very directional and stiff and will get in your way un the park.

Plus the Restricted LipStick has a Salt and Peppa graphic...

Snowboarding Is...

That thing I do to escape the world and have fun with my friends

Yeah if you plugged speakers or headphones into the mic-input on your computer they'd work, just not very well.

the beauty is a freeride big mountain board not for park.

don't know what burton is. not the best tech frostbite.

I would look at :

NS infinity
Roxy smoothie
Gnu ladies choice
roxy ollie pop

all good for park and mountain

If this is going to be a one board quiver at blue id say should be a cambered board. Either burton genie or feelgood. Both will still be very good for whistler trips. If you've already got a cambered board them non cambered like the ones above you listed for the 25 per cent of days at blue where snow is better quality.

The burton demo tent is often at blue, try before you buy.
